Hi, I’m Luke, the founder of CryptiX Diagnostics.

My journey in the automotive industry began while I was still in school, when I was given the opportunity to work on vehicles through a YMCA youth programme. It was during this time that I discovered not only my passion for vehicles, but also how my mind naturally leans toward problem-solving, diagnostics, and understanding complex systems.

I carried that drive into college, where I quickly built a reputation for my diagnostic ability. I became known for identifying faults that others often overlooked—saving both time and unnecessary expense. My curiosity pushed me beyond standard procedures; I wanted to understand not just what failed, but why it failed. That mindset has remained the foundation of my work ever since.

Alongside my automotive development, I developed a strong interest in computers and technology. I spent years learning how systems are built and repaired, often working on devices for friends and family. This dual passion for mechanics and electronics naturally led me toward specialising in vehicle diagnostics.

During my apprenticeship, I made the decision to fully commit to both disciplines—focusing on modern vehicle systems and the technology that drives them. I went on to qualify as an MOT Tester and continue to work actively as a freelance MOT Tester and Technician.

In 2020, I established myself as a sole trader. This step allowed me to work independently, refine my approach, and deliver a level of diagnostic precision that is often limited in traditional workshop environments. It marked the beginning of building a business centred around expertise, not volume.

By the end of 2025, this evolved into CryptiX Diagnostics.

It is a specialist diagnostic service built around experience, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of vehicle systems developed since 2012.
