Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by CryptiX Diagnostics ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or using our services, including online bookings, you agree to be bound by these terms.
 

2. Services Provided

CryptiX Diagnostics ("the Business"), operated solely by Luke ("the Owner"), offers low to high-level vehicle diagnostic services including but not limited to:
 

  • Fault code reading and clearing

  • Advanced diagnostics

  • Diagnostic reporting

  • Basic troubleshooting advice
     

Repairs may be offered at the sole discretion of the Business.
 

Where a diagnostic report is provided without repair, we may offer guidance or refer customers to trusted third-party professionals.

Any third-party repairer is solely responsible for the work they carry out, including compliance with all applicable trading standards, safety requirements, and professional obligations. CryptiX Diagnostics accepts no liability for any work, advice, or outcomes resulting from third-party services.
 

We do not guarantee that diagnostics will identify all faults or resolve underlying mechanical issues.
 

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information

  • Ensure legal ownership or permission to authorize diagnostics

  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe, roadworthy, and accessible condition

Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal of service and/or charges still being applied.
 

4. Online Bookings

  • All bookings made via our website are subject to availability

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment or deposit has been received

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all booking details are accurate

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
     

5. Deposits and Payments

  • A deposit may be required to secure an appointment

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund or reschedule at our discretion

  • Full payment is due upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise

  • Prices may vary depending on vehicle type, condition, and diagnostic complexity
     

We accept Bank transfer, Cash.
 

6. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment

  • Cancellations within 48 hours will result in loss of deposit

  • Failure to attend (no-show) may result in full charge of the booked service


7. Mobile and Call-Out Services

  • Additional charges may apply for mobile or call-out services

  • Customers must ensure safe and suitable working conditions at the location

  • If access is not possible or conditions are unsafe, the appointment may be cancelled and charges may still apply

  • Travel time and attendance may be chargeable regardless of whether work is completed
     

8. Service Limitations and Interruptions

  • Diagnostics may be limited by vehicle condition, battery state, existing faults, or manufacturer restrictions

  • We reserve the right to stop or refuse continuation of a service if it is unsafe or not viable

  • No guarantee is given that a diagnostic process can be completed in full


9. Estimates and Time frames

  • Any time estimates provided are approximate only

  • Actual diagnostic time may vary depending on fault complexity

  • Additional time required will be chargeable
     

10. Liability

  • We are not liable for pre-existing faults, damage, or deterioration of vehicle condition

  • We are not responsible for any failure that occurs during or after diagnostics due to underlying issues

  • We are not liable for any work carried out by third-party repairers, even if recommended

  • Any decision to proceed with repairs is made at the customer’s own risk

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
     

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it is unlawful to do so.
 

11. Insurance

CryptiX Diagnostics maintains appropriate business insurance coverage.

Details of insurance providers and coverage may be made available upon reasonable request.


12. No Guarantee of Repair

Diagnostics are informational only. We do not guarantee that identified issues can be repaired or that further issues will not arise.


13. Data and Privacy

We may collect and store customer and vehicle data for service and booking purposes. We do not sell or share personal data without consent, except where required by law.


14. Intellectual Property

All reports and materials provided remain the intellectual property of CryptiX Diagnostics unless otherwise agreed.


15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website.


16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
